5 WAYS TO CURB ANGRY BEHAVIOUR IN KIDS

Shiekh Bilal

There are moments when your preschooler's behaviour fills your heart with warmth, but there are also times when it may test your patience. As a child, they might struggle with self- control and anger.

Here are 5 tips to prevent aggressive behaviour in kids:

1. Teach Family Rules

Set clear rules and expectations for behaviour. Children need to be taught the rules to understand them.

2. Self-Control Development

Children usually show anger through hitting, kicking, or biting, so teach them to express anger with words.

3. Praise Positive Behaviour

Teach discipline by praising your child for acting appropriately, and reinforcing good behaviour with affection.

4. No Hurtful Behaviour

Step in if your child engages in physical fighting. Separate, calm them down and explain that hurting others is unacceptable.

5. Control Your Temper

It is crucial to control your temper, as children often follow how adults handle anger and frustrations.
